Traditional wall panelling has been the heart of what we do since 2007, and we still set every layout out by hand for the room it is going into rather than working to a standard pattern.
Wall panelling is our main trade. We fit it in older houses and newer homes, setting it out to suit the room rather than using a standard pattern.
Panelling gives a house character in a way very little else does, and it is usually the thing our customers tell us they notice every single day when they come through the front door.
We measure the room, work out where the rails and stiles want to sit so the proportions look right from where you actually stand, then scribe everything in to the walls you have got. Older houses are rarely square or plumb, so the panels are cut and eased to follow the wall rather than fighting it, and we work around the skirting, architrave, sockets and switches that are already in place instead of ripping them out.
It can be classic, contemporary or something more unusual, and it can be one feature wall or panelling that carries on through the hallway, up the stairs and into the dining room or bedroom. We leave it filled, sanded and ready for your decorator, or we can paint it for you.
